Letter from the President: Hurricane Harvey Help

Dear HMAG Members,

We hope this finds everyone safe and dry today. We all know the repercussions from Hurricane Harvey’s devastation will continue well into the foreseeable future.

While we realize the most important priority is the securing of your families, homes, vehicles, etc., we, as artists, also understand that our tools, equipment, and studio spaces are of utmost importance to those of us whose livelihoods are dependent upon our craft as well as to those of us whose joy and relaxation are found in our creative spaces.

HMAG would like to offer its assistance to any member who has sustained damage, lost tools, studios or anything else. We can help clean out a wet studio, help dry things off, collect tools, and on and on….

Please let us know if you have suffered any damage and how we might help. Just email HMAG or contact any of the Board Members listed below. We all want to help so, please, do not hesitate to reach out!

Stay safe,

Sandie Zilker

President
