March Program: Unusual Settings for Unusual Stones

Join us on March 21st, 7pm, in Freed Auditorium at Glassell, when HMAG board member, Mary Jarvis, will present “Unusual Settings for Unusal Stones.”  In this program, Mary will share the process of setting glass beads, stones, and other found objects in metal. Mary Jarvis is an award-winning beadmaker and studio jeweler in Spring, Texas. She has a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Mississippi in Graphic Design. She designed publications for The University of Mississippi and WKNO-TV in Memphis, Tennessee. After attending a workshop, she began making glass beads and jewelry. In 2001 she began working full time out of her studio.
